Ingredients
- 1 tsp dandelion root (dried, chopped)
- 1 tsp burdock root (dried, chopped)
- 1 tsp milk thistle seeds (lightly crushed)
- 1 tsp fresh ginger, sliced
- Juice of ½ fresh lemon
- 500 ml filtered water
- (Optional: 1 tsp raw honey, added after steeping and slightly cooled)
Equipments
- Small saucepan
- Tea strainer or fine mesh sieve
- Measuring spoons
- Mug or teacup
- Heat-safe jar or flask (for storing extra)
Instructions
- Combine all herbs and ginger with water in a small saucepan.
- Bring to a boil, then lower heat and simmer for 15–20 minutes with lid slightly ajar
- Remove from heat, stir in the lemon juice
- Strain the tea into your mug
- Sweeten with honey if desired
- Store extra in the fridge and consume within 2 days

- 🌿 For stronger flavor, let the herbs steep covered for another 10 minutes after simmering.
